    • Put in an option to add a new tab. (Like in the official Processing IDE)

I'm not sure if this has been addressed elsewhere but I would find it useful! I like being able to separate out different aspects of my sketch, otherwise the file can get a bit long and confusing.

      • support for ControlP5 (and other libs)

I would really really like to have access to the ControlP5 libs on StudioSketchpad. Please allow that (and other libs) to be accessible on sketchpad.

        • Loading an external JavaScript library

I'd like to edit projects like http://beagleboard.org/support/BoneScript/processingjs/ via scratchpad.cc, but it requires me to read in my own JavaScript library. I've attempted adding it as a resource, but it doesn't get included. Documenting the process for injecting your own JavaScript library would allow for some more interactive applications.

                • Always include 'Edit Sketch' link when looking at the source for your own sketches

Sometimes I get a link to edit the code, other times the only way to modify it is to clone it. I have no idea why it's sometimes there and sometimes not. A bug? Or just a really confusing feature?

This is already supported for any sketch that you create after logging in. From the sketches “View” page, the “Edit” section of the sidebar includes a “Delete this Sketch” link.

                      • Keep focus in chat box on refresh.

Right now, every time one person renders the image, everyone's focus returns to the code box, so any typing goes there. This can be annoying when you're trying to chat with someone who hits render, and mid-word you find that you're chatting with your program.

If I use your tool to create multiple sketches... I might end up with a lot on "Untitled sketches" in my folder. Most of them would not work. How can I delete them? Thx.

My intent was to provide something to start with that’s render-ready immediately. I do think that makes for a better first-use experience, but I also agree that it isn’t ideal for people who know exactly what it is that they want to do.

While I’m not going to remove the default sketch for studio.sketchpad.cc, I now allow private studio owners ( http://blog.sketchpad.cc/teaching/private-studios/ ) the ability to override this with a sketch of their own choosing (which may be blank.)

                              Thanks again for the suggestion.

Lets say i have an Android App to render processing.js. It would be good to use a feed from your website as input.. btw here's the link to that App :) http://code.google.com/p/my-processing/

Thanks for the suggestion. Wonderfl has several great features that could be useful in the context of creating sketches on Sketchpad, including syntax search.

I’ve implemented a (mostly-functional) syntax search, which you can find in the upper-righthand corner of the sketch editor. At some point, I’d like to better integrate this into the site, but hopefully this captures some of the value of a having a syntax search available.

                                    Thanks for the suggestion!

                                  • line numbers for errors... please!

Ok, this might be a problem w/ processingjs in general, but is there ANY way to see/highlight what line in the PDE caused an error ? I forgot to pass in a variable to a function that was using it and my entire error msg was TypeError: Cannot read property 'undefined' of undefined -- admittedly this was more information then I know how to get out of a browser but still...

Each browser does error reporting a bit differently (frequently with different messages and different line numbers). I opened your sketch in Safari, Chrome, and Firefox (with Firebug installed), and found the error message in Firefox to be the most useful in this case.

                                      • Enable the IDE to use the maximum amount of screen space after undocking the render window.

When you move the output window the rest of the studio should maximize to use that space.

The full-width option for the editor is back! There’s a checkbox in the footer to turn it on and off. Also, the page header now squishes to save (vertical) space. Moving the mouse over the header re-expands it.

                                        • canvas zoom issue

There seems to be a bug where the small floating canvas zooms in when it shouldn't, resulting in only a portion of the sketch being shown. The mouselocations also get off-positioned (they're in the same position as they would be had the sketch not been magnified)
